1. TCP Optimization:

Windows store your network default Transfer Control Protocol Values in TCP/IP directory. You can change it from default to your desire value by changing the values in the registery files. You can edit the files yourself by running regedit in run box or you can use TCP Optimizer software as well. This software is very good for boosting Broadband connections and has been downloaded over 4 million times so far.

This software allows you to change the default TCP parameters to your desire. You can even change from few KB to some GB. But you should change only according to the tips given by software itself. It is a free to use software and it can be downloaded from here.

2. Increase Speed By 20 Percent:

This is another good method and is used by myself as well and I found this working and I was able to note the 20 percent boost in my Broadband Connection. Follow the following steps for this:

• Run the goedit.msc in run commands box.
• Expand the Local Computer Policy and then Administrative Templates branch.
• Highlight the Network Branch and from there highlight the QoS Packet Scheduler.
• In the right side Window double click on the Limit Reservable Bandwidth and on the setting tab there check the Enabled box.
• Change it to read 0, where there is Bandwidth limit%
• Restart the System and feel the change.

3. Close Unwanted apps:

There are some softwares which start automatically with the computer start and they start using Internet invisibly. So it’s better to stop them and to disable their automation. For this type msconfig in the run command and go to the startup tab there and uncheck the unnecessary programs.

4. Update Your Antivirus:

Keep your Antivirus updated because it the antivirus is running out of date then it will start looking for the updates on the internet automatically and it will eat your Broad band’s Power. So better is to update it yourself and to get the all of your Broadband.

5. Right Placement of Router:

The speed of your internet connection also depends on the placement of your router. The users find their Broadband Speed at its best when they place Wireless Router and Computer in the same room.

6. Use Accelerators:

Accelerators are the softwares that help in boosting the downloading speed. There are thousands of accelerators available o the internet but most of them are made for Dial-Up connection. But there are some good one for Broadband connection as well. The most popular are:

• DAP (Download Accelerator Plus)
• Google Web Accelerator
• Flash Get
• IDM (Internet Download Manager)

I am using IDM and I can note about 3 times faster downloading.

             Sometimes due to certain errors sometimes the url or the domain registered with byethost free cpanel account gets redirected to another site. We certainly do not know why it happens but we are surely interested to fix it as soon as possible. In case filing a complaint or creating a ticket in the site does not help here is a small peice of script that you need to paste at the end of the wp-config.php.

This will surely work and solve the redirection issue. Before doing so set the chmod or permissions to 777 and edit and update the wp-config.php file.

1. Glary Utilities: a comprehensive and powerful utility:

Numerous tools are available on Glary, discussed here in the basic and free version. There is also a Pro version available to function a little further but not really interesting for the individual. This is an interesting and effective alternative to Tune-up utilities software in its field. While launching Glary, you come across a very simple interface that allows navigating immediately from the diversity of available functions. These functions are divided into five categories with everything you need to ensure the health of your PC; cleaning, remove spyware / adware, optimization, disk analysis, program management, memory optimization, deleting your traces, recovery of deleted files or searching for duplicates. 3. Auslogics Disk Defrag: defragment to speed up your system:

We know the benefits of defragmentation: reduce up files for faster program execution. Its principle is: remove the spaces created when deleting files and take unnecessary memory and increase the time to read the hard drive. Defragment your disk so that you can delete the unused space and reduces the loading time when using. If Windows already has a built-in defragmenter, it is long and less effective than other solutions, including Auslogics Disk Defrag, a free utility but very efficient. It also shows a defragmentation rates among the higher by removing a very large proportion of empty spaces.

At launch, two options are available, simple defragmentation, click on “Defrag” or defragmenting coupled with optimizing your system by clicking on the arrow to the right and “Defrag and Optimization”. An inbuilt Windows defragmentation may take some that’s why Auslogics Disk Defrag offers you to shut down your computer at the end of the process by checking the box to the right of the interface. You can set the priority level of defragmentation via the Settings panel / Priority Defrag, which set aside more or less resources to carry out the latter for greater speed. An update is available at the launch of the software and be sure to make regular updates to enrich the database.
