Android’s victory in the market can be traced openly to Samsung, which accounted for 44.0% of all Android smartphones shipped in 2Q12 and amounted for more than the next seven Android vendors’ volumes collectively, including the growing relevance of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with the launch of numerous models globally.
